Jeffrey graduated from John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Technology. Beginning August 2020, Jeffrey will be attending the University of Southern California.
Due to the many health issues that impacted his family and friends, Jeffrey developed a strong desire to help those in need through STEM. Jeffrey witnessed firsthand the impact of a stroke on an individual and he immediately began to brainstorm treatments to help with the prevention and recovery of those whose suffered strokes. As said by Jeffrey, “Fulfilling this dream of helping people through STEM is what fuels my pursuit to become a biomedical engineer.”
Hobbies: Working and volunteering with SteppingStone, Participating in STEM programs hosted by MIT OEOP office, playing soccer, and track and field.
Dream Job: Biomedical Engineering and being a CEO/Founder of a Non-profit
What change do you want to make with your STEM degree?: “I want to contribute to making healthcare more accessible and more efficient for low income communities and third world countries worldwide.
